Aston Villa secured a 2-1 victory over Leicester City at Villa Park, with Leon Bailey scoring a late goal to restore their lead in the 76th minute.

The match began cautiously, but Villa took the lead in the 58th minute through Ross Barkley’s volley. Leicester responded quickly, with Stephy Mavididi firing in an equalizer after missing a great chance earlier. However, Bailey’s decisive goal from an Ian Maatsen cross sealed the win for Villa.

The result lifted Villa to eighth in the Premier League with 32 points, while Leicester remain 19th, two points from safety. Bailey's goal ended a 19-match scoring drought and was his first since April. Villa completed their first league double over Leicester since 2003-04, while the Foxes extended their losing streak to five games.
