Atletico Madrid keen on Paris Saint-Germain defender with €25m asking price

Atletico Madrid strengthened their defense by signing Robin Le Normand and Clement Lenglet in the 2024 summer transfer window.

However, with Axel Witsel and Cesar Azpilicueta set to depart at the end of the season, the club is expected to sign another central defender in 2025.

Lenglet is on loan from Barcelona, and if a permanent deal is not reached, two new defenders may be needed. One potential target is Milan Skriniar from Paris Saint-Germain, with Atletico among the clubs interested.

PSG reportedly seeks €35 million for Skriniar but may accept around €25 million. Atletico, having recently earned €20 million from Arthur Vermeeren's sale, may be able to afford the fee.
