Balotelli, Fila and Radu set for possible deadline day Venezia moves

Mario Balotelli may continue his Serie A career with Venezia after being frozen out at Genoa, where he made only a few brief substitute appearances since joining in October 2024.

Balotelli had signed under former coach Alberto Gilardino, but the arrival of Patrick Vieira led to a shift in plans.

Sky Sport Italia reports that Venezia is set to sign Balotelli on deadline day to bolster their squad, especially after Joel Pohjanpalo’s transfer to Palermo.

Venezia are also close to securing Slavia Prague's Daniel Fila and are in talks to bring Inter-owned goalkeeper Ionut Radu following Filip Stankovic's knee injury.
