Barcelona preparing fresh contract for vice-captain

Barcelona are reportedly preparing to offer Raphinha a two-year contract extension, extending his deal until 2029. The Brazilian winger, currently under contract until 2027, would receive a wage increase starting in 2026.

Raphinha has been one of Barcelona’s standout players this season, contributing 24 goals and 15 assists in 35 appearances.

His leadership qualities earned him the vice-captaincy, and his form has made him a crucial part of the team.

However, despite his success, Barcelona have been linked with left-sided wingers such as Liverpool’s Luis Díaz and Athletic Club’s Nico Williams.

Given the club's past willingness to sell him, Raphinha may seek clarity on their plans before committing to a long-term future at Camp Nou.
