Barcelona president accidentally leaks huge Dani Olmo registration update

Barcelona president Joan Laporta leaked a WhatsApp message suggesting the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) supports the club's efforts to re-register Dani Olmo and Pau Victor.

The players, initially registered under temporary measures due to Andreas Christensen's injury, saw their agreements expire on December 31 when Barcelona failed to meet financial requirements. La Liga rules prevent re-registration within the same season.

Laporta shared a statement from the RFEF, which argued that article 130.2 of their regulations should not apply, as the players' departure was due to external factors, not the club's will. While reports conflicted about whether La Liga had approved the re-registration, Barcelona is prepared to take legal action or escalate the matter to the Ministry for Sport.
