Barcelona request stadium stay extension amid Spotify Camp Nou delay fears

Barcelona remains uncertain about returning to the Spotify Camp Nou this season due to ongoing construction delays.

Despite guarantees from the construction company, the club is preparing for the possibility of staying at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys until the end of the campaign.

Barcelona has officially requested an extension from BSM to use the stadium until May 20, as scheduled concerts have reportedly been canceled.

While the club’s priority remains returning to Camp Nou before the season ends, officials are working on securing approval for the final two home games, including a match against Real Madrid.

For now, Estadi Olímpic remains a backup option, but Barcelona is making every effort to return to their iconic home as soon as possible.
