Barcelona will not return to the U.S. for their 2025 pre-season tour, opting for Asia instead.

The club has signed an agreement with Korean promotion company D-drive Corporation to play four matches—two in South Korea and two in Japan.

Barcelona expects to earn approximately €10 million from the South Korean fixtures, one likely against the K-League All-Stars and another against a European team. The Club World Cup limits potential opponents.

The club's failure to qualify for the expanded tournament means missing out on significant revenue, which they aim to recover through these friendlies.

A pre-season Clasico against Real Madrid, previously a lucrative fixture in the U.S., will not occur in 2025 due to Madrid’s Club World Cup participation.
