Barcelona has been struggling with venue options due to ongoing renovations at the Spotify Camp Nou, which lacks a confirmed reopening date.
Initially planned for November 2024, the return has been delayed multiple times, with hopes of reopening before the El Clásico on May 11. While construction company Limak has assured completion in time, no guarantees exist.
Barcelona has been using the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys (Montjuïc), but scheduled concerts in May, including a rumored Rolling Stones tour, posed challenges.
However, reports now suggest the tour might be canceled, potentially allowing Barcelona to finish the season at Montjuïc.
Previously, Barcelona considered hosting El Clásico abroad or even at their training ground, but club president Joan Laporta opposed the idea. The team remains focused on adapting to the uncertainty.
