Ghana Black Stars goalkeeper Benjamin Asare is determined to keep his spot. He is preparing for the upcoming Unity Cup in the UK. This tournament features four nations competing.
Asare plays for Hearts of Oak and has received another call-up. He aims to be Ghana's first-choice goalkeeper, competing with Lawrence Ati-Zigi. He made his debut during World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar.
In an interview with Max TV, Asare expressed his commitment. "I'm grateful to God, our supporters, and all Ghanaians," he said. He acknowledged that it's challenging for local players to join the Black Stars.
Asare emphasized the need for mental preparation. "We have to psyche ourselves up," he stated. "Anything can happen at any time." He believes they must be ready to represent Ghana proudly.
