Betis should crowdfund to extend Antony loan - Isco

Real Betis midfielder Isco has playfully suggested crowdfunding to extend Antony’s loan from Manchester United.

The Brazilian winger has been instrumental since joining Betis in January, scoring four goals and providing four assists in 12 appearances.

His impact has coincided with an impressive run, as Betis have won six consecutive La Liga games and now sit sixth, pushing for a Champions League spot.

Despite Antony’s resurgence, United sources confirm Betis are already covering at least 84% of his £100,000-plus weekly wages.

Isco praised Antony’s humility and influence, stating, “We’ve noticed a change since he arrived; he brings us a lot.”

Antony, who cost United £81m in 2022, struggled for form before his Betis move, scoring just once in the Premier League since April 2023.
