Ghana's Black Queens suffered a second defeat in three games under coach Lars Bjorkegren, losing 1-0 to Senegal in a friendly match.

The defeat came after a similar 1-0 loss to Senegal in the first game, with Evelyn Badu scoring the only goal. Bjorkegren made five changes to the starting lineup, but Ghana struggled to break Senegal's physical dominance in the first half, going into halftime at 0-0.

The second half saw chances from Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah and a crucial defensive intervention by Ernestina Abambila. However, in the final minute, Senegal capitalized on a defensive lapse to score the winner.

The Black Queens now have two losses and one win in their preparations for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
