Black Galaxies draw 0-0 with Nigeria in CHAN qualifier first leg

The Black Galaxies of Ghana played out a thrilling 0-0 draw with Nigeria's Super Eagles B in the first leg of the 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Ghana, led by Coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, started strongly, creating several chances but failing to convert.

Nigeria grew into the game, matching Ghana's intensity and coming close to scoring in the first half, with a dangerous free kick that went wide.

In the second half, Ghana continued to press, with Mustapha Yakubu's strike saved and Nigeria's Papa Daniel Mustafa hitting the woodwork.

Despite both teams pushing for a goal, the match ended goalless.

The return leg will take place in Uyo on December 28.
