The Black Princesses will kick off the new year with a training camp in Bibiani starting January 2, 2025, to prepare for upcoming international competitions, including the 2025 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup qualifiers.
The camp will assess two groups of players, with the first group reporting on January 2 and the second on January 6.
The aim is to identify talent for the team’s core. Newly appointed head coach Charles Sampson, who replaces Yusif Basigi, will oversee the camp.
Basigi has moved on to become the head coach of Tanzanian side Simba Queens. This camp marks the beginning of Sampson’s tenure in preparing a competitive squad for the qualifiers.
