Black Queens head coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren has launched an extensive scouting mission in Europe and Ghana to strengthen the national team ahead of upcoming international friendlies and the Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
His journey began in Sweden, where he observed former Black Princesses star Sharon Sampson shine for Pitea IF in a crucial Swedish Cup victory.
Coach Kim also returned to Ghana, attending a Women’s FA Cup quarterfinal match between Rootz Sistaz and Ampem Darkoa Ladies at the Methodist Astro Turf.
His scouting efforts aim to identify and develop talent from both local and international pools.
Bjorkegren will continue evaluating players in Ghana’s Women’s Premier League and FA Cup, ensuring a well-balanced squad for the challenges ahead.
