Ghana’s Black Queens suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Morocco’s Atlas Lionesses in an international friendly in Casablanca.

The Queens started strongly, creating early chances, but Moroccan goalkeeper Fatima Ezzahra denied them.

Doris Boaduwaa missed an early opportunity, while Sherifa Sumaila’s cross was safely collected.

Despite Ghana’s resilience, Morocco secured the win in added time when Saoud Imane capitalized on a defensive lapse.

The match was a key test for Coach Kim Lars Björkegren as he prepares his squad for the *TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations* in July.

The Black Queens will conclude their nine-day training tour in Morocco with a match against Raja Athletic on February 24, 2025.
