Black Queens lose to Senegal in training tour

The Black Queens of Ghana finished their nine-day training tour in Senegal. They faced a tough 1-0 loss to the Teranga Lionesses. This was their second international friendly.

Despite playing well, the Queens could not score. Senegal took advantage of a defensive mistake to win in Dakar on Tuesday.

The only goal came in the second half. It highlighted how small margins can determine success or failure. The Black Queens now have important lessons to learn as they prepare for the TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

The two friendlies during their training camp will be helpful. The team will return home to refine their strategies for the tournament.
