German-born Ghanaian winger Josephine Kyerewaa Bonsu has expressed her excitement after joining the Black Queens for their Women's Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) preparations.

The Carl Zeiss Jena winger is set to make her debut in a friendly against Morocco on Thursday.

Bonsu shared her gratitude for being selected, praising her teammates for welcoming her warmly despite arriving from Germany.

She highlighted the positive training sessions and expressed confidence in the team’s potential against Morocco.

The Black Queens are returning to AFCON after missing the last two editions and have been drawn in Group C alongside defending champions South Africa, Mali, and Tanzania. Bonsu's addition strengthens the squad as Ghana aims for a strong tournament performance.
