Black Queens seeded in level two ahead of AWCON Draw

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the draw procedures for the 2025 African Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON), set for Friday at the Mohammed VI Complex in Morocco.

The Black Queens of Ghana are seeded in Level 2, with the 12 teams divided into four levels based on FIFA rankings.

Host Morocco leads Group A, defending champions South Africa spearhead Group C, and Nigeria heads Group B. The tournament, running July 5–26, 2025, marks the 13th AWCON edition, showcasing Africa's top women's football talent.
