Black Satellites begin preparations for 2025 U-20 AFCON with training camp

Black Satellites coach Desmond Ofei has called up 35 players from Ghana Premier League clubs for the first phase of preparations for the 2025 CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.

The camp will run from January 3 to 9, 2025, focusing on evaluating Premier League talents. From January 10 to 15, players from Division One clubs will undergo a similar assessment.

Coach Ofei and his team aim to identify top local talents to strengthen the squad ahead of the tournament, set for April 26 to May 18, 2025, in Côte d'Ivoire.

This preparation phase is key to building a competitive team with potential to qualify for the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
