Medeama SC's head coach, Ibrahim Tanko, praised right full back Kamaradini Mamudu. Mamudu scored twice in a 3-0 victory over Young Apostles in the Ghana Premier League. He netted goals in the 18th and 26th minutes. Left full back Fatawu Sulemana added the third goal in the 36th minute.
Mamudu's performance comes after his call-up to Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team. He will participate in World Cup qualification matches against Chad and Madagascar.
In a post-game interview, Tanko expressed satisfaction with his full backs' offensive contributions. He stated that strikers are not the only ones responsible for scoring goals.
Tanko noted that when his team is in possession, both full backs play like midfielders. This allows them to create scoring opportunities.
He added that it benefits the team when players from other positions score goals instead of just strikers.
