Black Stars Mgt. C’ttee members not paid for now — Kofi Adams - Ghanaian Times

The Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, has made an announcement.

He stated that members of the Black Stars Management Committee are not currently paid.

However, they will receive rewards if Ghana qualifies for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

This World Cup will be held in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.

A total of 48 countries will compete in the tournament.

Africa has nine automatic qualification spots available.

Ghana is well-positioned to qualify from Group I with 15 points from six games.

Despite this progress, committee members are working without payment.

This includes Chairman Dr. Randy Abbey and Vice Chairman Stephen Appiah.

They are close to receiving rewards for their efforts.
