Black Stars’ challenges are beyond the technical team - Faisal Chibsah

FIFA High-Performance Specialist Faisal Chibsah believes the Black Stars' challenges go beyond the technical team.

His comments come after Ghana failed to qualify for the 2025 AFCON, finishing bottom of Group F with three points after three defeats and three draws.

Fans have called for head coach Otto Addo’s dismissal following back-to-back disappointing AFCON campaigns.

Chibsah criticized the team’s lack of desire, commitment, and purpose, stating that they played without adaptability and seemed uninterested. He emphasized that the team's issues are deeper than coaching.

The Black Stars now aim to improve their performance in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, where they will face Chad and Madagascar in Matchday five and six.
