Ghana's Black Stars have dropped four places to 77th in the latest FIFA rankings following a winless 2025 Africa Cup of Nations campaign.
This marks a significant decline from their 61st position in November 2023 and leaves them just 12 spots above their all-time lowest ranking of 89th.
The team earned only 1320.2 points, continuing a downward trend after earlier drops in September and October due to poor results, including losses to Angola and Sudan.
Despite the struggles under coach Otto Addo, the Ghana Football Association plans to retain him for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers starting in March 2025.
The team’s form has raised concerns about its future, highlighting the urgent need for improvement.
