Former GFA Communications Director Tamimu Issah has emphasized that the Black Stars' current struggles extend beyond technical issues.
His comments follow Ghana’s failure to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), sparking calls for the dismissal of head coach Otto Addo and his technical team.
Speaking on Asempa FM, Issah argued that frequent coaching changes have not resolved the team’s persistent challenges. “I don’t think the issue with the Black Stars is technical alone,” he remarked, urging a broader examination of systemic problems affecting the national team.
Ghana’s disappointing performance in the qualifiers saw them finish at the bottom of Group F with just three points from six matches. Issah called for a holistic approach to address the deeper issues hindering the team’s progress.
