Former Black Stars players, including legendary captain Stephen Appiah, attended the funeral of Prince Tagoe's late mother, Madam Joyce Tagoe, who passed away at 69 in Accra last month.

Key figures such as Asamoah Gyan, Sulley Muntari, Kwadwo Asamoah, and PFAG president Tony Baffoe, along with Sam Johnson and Isaac Vorsah, were present to support Tagoe.

Former club Hearts of Oak also had representatives at the event. Tagoe expressed heartfelt gratitude on social media, thanking his former teammates and well-wishers for their support, comforting words, and generous acts during this difficult time, emphasizing that their love and kindness would always be remembered by the Tagoe family.
