Black Stars new-boy Mohammed Fuseini scores maiden Ghana goal against Trinidad and Tobago in Unity C

Union Saint-Gilloise attacker Mohammed Fuseini scored his first goal for the Black Stars. This happened during a big win over Trinidad and Tobago. The match was for third place in the 2025 Unity Cup in London.

The 23-year-old received his first call-up to Ghana's senior national team. Coach Otto Addo selected him ahead of the Unity Cup. Fuseini started today's game against Trinidad and Tobago at Gtech Community Stadium. He had previously made a brief appearance in the semi-final loss to Nigeria.

Fuseini impressed fans with his performance today. He scored a superb goal in the 41st minute. This came after Jordan Ayew and Razak Simpson had already scored, giving Ghana a two-goal lead.

Belgium-based midfielder Lawrence Agyekum added a fourth goal in the 56th minute. His goal helped Ghana secure third place in the Unity Cup.

In his debut season, Fuseini scored 11 goals and provided three assists for Union Saint-Gilloise. He played a key role in their Belgian Pro League victory after 90 years.
