Ludogorets forward Bernard Tekpetey has expressed frustration over his continued exclusion from the Ghana national team, despite strong performances for his club.
The former Schalke 04 attacker, who has been overlooked since his 2017 Africa Cup of Nations appearance, admitted his disappointment in an interview with Asempa FM.
He acknowledged the pain of seeing others called up while he remains sidelined, despite consistently playing at a high level. Tekpetey, who scored 15 goals and provided nine assists last season, understands the coach's selection process but remains concerned.
He is currently recovering from an injury sustained during a Champions League qualifier against Qarabag. Since his 2017 debut, Tekpetey has earned just two caps for the Black Stars.
