Jimmy Butler returned from a seven-game suspension as the Miami Heat lost 133-113 to the Denver Nuggets.
The suspension stemmed from "conduct detrimental to the team," and Butler had requested a trade. While the Heat initially stated he was unavailable for trade, they later indicated they would consider offers.
Butler scored 18 points in 33 minutes of play, and before the game, he confirmed his return via social media.
He addressed his suspension, stating that many had spoken about the situation but he had remained silent. Butler emphasized that he has no issues with his teammates.
In other NBA action, the Los Angeles Lakers won 102-101 over the Brooklyn Nets despite Anthony Davis' absence, with Austin Reaves scoring a career-high 38 points.
