CAF confirms 2025 competition calendar and AFCON draw date

The CAF Executive Committee (EXCO) approved the 2025 competition calendar during a meeting in Marrakech on December 16, 2024, chaired by CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe.

The final draw for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) will take place on January 27, 2025, in Rabat, Morocco.

Morocco will also host the TotalEnergies CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations in 2025 and 2026.

Key competition dates include the CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations (March 30 - April 19, 2025), the CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations (April 26 - May 18, 2025), and finals for the CAF Confederation Cup, Champions League, and Women's Champions League, along with AFCON from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.
