Thursday’s unveiling builds excitement for the upcoming 2024/25 TotalEnergies CAF Champions League final. The first leg will be held between Mamelodi Sundowns and Pyramids FC in Pretoria on Saturday.
The return leg will take place on June 1 in Cairo. The new trophy features sleek silver and gold lines, symbolizing unity and rivalry in African football.
At its peak, the golden sphere represents victory and embodies African symbolism. The contrasting elements celebrate both champions' triumphs and worthy opponents' honor.
