The former Chelsea winger played a key role as Forest secured the win, with Anthony Elanga scoring the decisive goal in the first half following a quick counter-attack. Hudson-Odoi played 87 minutes before being substituted, and after the match, he shared a post celebrating Christmas and the victory.

This win moved Forest to third place in the Premier League, ahead of Arsenal's game.

Hudson-Odoi has scored two goals and provided one assist in 17 Premier League appearances this season. The forward, eligible to play for Ghana, also won the U17 World Cup with England.
