Carlo Ancelotti confirmed as new Brazil Head Coach

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti will leave the club at season's end. He will become Brazil's national team coach.

The 65-year-old Italian will officially start on May 26. This is after the La Liga season concludes.

Ancelotti leaves Real Madrid as one of its most successful managers. He won 15 trophies during two spells with the club. Last season, he led Real to a Champions League and La Liga double.

His departure follows a loss in El Clasico on Sunday. This defeat left Real seven points behind Barcelona with three games left.

Unless Barcelona collapses, Real will finish the season without a trophy. This would be their first trophy-less season in four years.
