Celta Vigo's Joseph Aidoo heading to Real Valladolid on loan

Real Valladolid have agreed to sign Ghanaian defender Joseph Aidoo on loan for the rest of the season.

Aidoo has struggled for game time at Celta Vigo, making just one appearance and playing only one minute this season.

His last La Liga match was on September 15, 2024, against Valladolid, where he featured briefly in a 3-1 win.

Before completing the move, Aidoo must pass a medical, as there are concerns about his fitness following a serious Achilles tendon injury in October 2023.

Valladolid, currently at the bottom of La Liga, are desperate for reinforcements to revive their struggling campaign.

The loan deal offers Aidoo a chance to regain form while helping Valladolid in their fight for survival.
