Certificate course in Sports Psychology opens in Accra - Ghanaian Times

The Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, has launched a four-day certificate program in Sports Psychology. This event is organized by the National Sports College in Winneba. It takes place at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Dr. Elvis Hagan Jnr from Germany and Dr. Medina Srem-Sai from the University of Education, Winneba, are facilitating the program. The initiative is in collaboration with the National Sports Authority (NSA).

This program is the first of its kind in Ghana. Its goal is to equip sports professionals with psychological tools to improve athlete performance.

During the opening yesterday, Mr. Adams highlighted psychology's important role in sports development today.
