Champions League glory will make us Europe's best - Slot

Liverpool manager Arne Slot insists his team cannot be considered the best in Europe until they win the Champions League.

Ahead of their last-16 first-leg clash against Paris Saint-Germain, PSG coach Luis Enrique praised Liverpool as "an almost-perfect" team.

However, Slot acknowledged that reigning champions Real Madrid remain the top European side.

Liverpool currently lead the Premier League by 13 points and topped their Champions League league phase.

Meanwhile, forward Cody Gakpo, the team’s second-highest scorer with 16 goals, is doubtful for the match after aggravating an injury. Slot stated that Gakpo's availability will be a last-minute decision.
