Reece James' stoppage-time free kick earned Chelsea a 2-2 draw against Bournemouth, extending their winless run to five matches in the Premier League.

Chelsea took the lead in the first half through Cole Palmer's cool finish, following good work by Nicolas Jackson. Bournemouth equalized early in the second half with a Justin Kluivert penalty, then took the lead through Antoine Semenyo’s brilliant goal in the 68th minute.

Just when it seemed Bournemouth would secure their first win at Stamford Bridge since 2019, James’ late free kick salvaged a point for Chelsea. The draw keeps Chelsea in fourth place, while Bournemouth extend their unbeaten run to nine matches, staying seventh. Despite limited chances, Bournemouth’s solid defense frustrated Chelsea, who saw Jackson miss several opportunities.
