Chelsea take Alejandro Garnacho interest to the next level as Napoli eye alternative

Chelsea are reportedly moving closer to pursuing Alejandro Garnacho in January, with plans to approach Manchester United for negotiations.

Despite being a key player under Erik ten Hag, Garnacho has fallen out of favor with new coach Ruben Amorim, starting just four of the last 11 Premier League games. His absence has benefited Amad Diallo, who now regularly plays alongside Bruno Fernandes. Chelsea has already been in contact with Garnacho's representatives, and negotiations with United are expected to follow.

Although Napoli also remains interested, they are struggling with the high asking price and are exploring other options, including Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi. Historically, United and Chelsea have conducted business despite their rivalry, with several high-profile transfers between the clubs.
