Christopher Bonsu Baah made his debut for the Black Stars. He played in the 2025 Unity Cup against Nigeria.
The Genk winger completed 90 minutes on Wednesday evening. Ghana missed out on a spot in the final of the tournament.
Bonsu Baah was called up for only the second time. He started as Otto Addo experimented with his lineup.
The speedy winger joined Jordan Ayew and Kwame Opoku in attack. The Black Stars aimed for a place in the final.
Ghana conceded two goals within the first 24 minutes. Despite this, Bonsu Baah remained lively whenever he had the ball. He confidently challenged defenders throughout the match.
In the second half, he contributed to Ghana's attacks. He helped set up Brandon Thomas-Asante’s goal, which reduced their deficit.
Bonsu Baah nearly assisted another goal, but Jordan Ayew missed his cross. He was substituted for Mohammed Fuseini in the closing minutes of the game.
Ghana lost 1-2 to Nigeria. The young player hopes for another chance against Trinidad and Tobago next.
