FC Samartex and head coach Nurudeen Amadu have mutually agreed to part ways after 13 matches in the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.
The decision follows a tough period for the club, which has suffered three consecutive defeats, leaving them in 10th place with 17 points.
Amadu, who joined in July 2023, led Samartex to their first-ever Premier League title and a spot in the CAF Champions League, but they were eliminated by Moroccan side Raja Casablanca in the second round.
In the interim, assistant coach Henry Wellington will take over while the club searches for a permanent replacement.
