The match saw five goals in a thrilling second half, with Sociedad leading 3-1 before Jude Bellingham’s volley leveled the score.

Aurelien Tchouameni nearly sealed it for Madrid in the 86th minute, but Sociedad’s Mikel Oyarzabal forced extra time with a goal in added time.

In the 115th minute, Rudiger’s header from a corner gave Madrid a spot in the final.
