Coventry City manager Frank Lampard has dismissed rumors linking striker Brandon Thomas-Asante to Blackburn Rovers.
The 26-year-old Ghanaian forward, who joined Coventry from West Brom in the summer, has made just eight Championship starts.
Despite interest from several clubs, including Blackburn and Stoke, Lampard insists Thomas-Asante remains part of Coventry's squad, especially after a long-term injury to top scorer Haji Wright.
Lampard acknowledged the speculation surrounding players, stating that it often doesn't reflect reality.
He expressed confidence in Thomas-Asante's attitude and improvement, noting his progress in recent weeks.
Lampard emphasized the importance of clinical finishing, as Coventry's strikers have struggled to convert chances, which is an area the team is actively working on.
