Fireworks lit up the Achimota Cricket Ovals A and B on Sunday, April 27. The Greater Accra Cricket Association (GACA) T10 Knockout Championship kicked off with exciting matches.

In Group B, Defenders played strongly against Swami Indians. They won by 22 runs after scoring 78/6 in their innings. Defenders then restricted Swami to 56/5. MVP Rahul Cherupoika shone brightly, scoring 31 not out off 19 balls. He also took one wicket for just seven runs in two overs.

Newcomers Royal Kings Punjab faced a tough challenge from Panjab Warriors. The Warriors posted a solid score of 90/3. They squeezed the Royals to 85/7, winning by just five runs.

Kuldeep stole the show with three wickets in just 1.4 overs. He only gave away 11 runs during his spell. Anmol Singh Virk dazzled with a quickfire 60 runs off 29 balls, dominating the boundary ropes.
