Dada Joe Easter Football Gala: 3-day event kicks off on Good Friday

The Dada Joe Easter football tournament will start on Good Friday, April 18, 2025. It will run until Sunday, April 20, 2025. The venue is the Nkenkaasu Methodist Park in the Ashanti Region.

This tournament features ten teams from nearby communities. These teams have strong competitive records. Spectators can expect exciting and entertaining matches.

The organizers confirmed the tournament has two stages: group and knockout.

There will be three groups in the group stage. Group A includes four teams: Nkenkaasu ‘B’, Akumadan 530, Darso, and Asuoso. Group B has three teams: Nkenkaasu ‘A’, Akumadan Zongo, and Nsenoaman.

Group C also consists of three teams: Nkenkaasu Government Workers, Afrancho, and Nkwankwaa/Asempanaye.

The top two teams from Group A will advance to the knockout round. The top teams from Groups B and C will also qualify for this stage.

The tournament begins on Good Friday, April 18, 2025. The grand finale will take place on Sunday, April 20, 2025. All matches will be held at the Nkenkaasu Methodist Park.
