Former Black Satellites goalkeeper Daniel Adjei has appealed to President John Dramani Mahama for assistance in resolving a dispute over the team’s 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup investment.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA), through SAS Finance Group, invited the players to receive their matured investment of GHS 10,000, which has grown to GHS 70,000 per player.
However, some players are dissatisfied with the accounting and have rejected the payments.
Adjei, emphasizing the need for transparency, called for state intervention, especially since the investment was made by the government.
Due to financial constraints, many players cannot afford legal representation. Adjei has asked President Mahama, who was vice president at the time, to help resolve the issue.
