Manchester City bounced back from criticism after last week’s derby draw, mounting a stunning comeback to beat Crystal Palace 5-2 at the Etihad.

Trailing 2-0 after early goals from Eberechi Eze and Chris Richards, City were spared a deeper hole when Palace's third was ruled out by semi-automated offside tech.

Kevin De Bruyne sparked the turnaround with a brilliant free-kick in the 33rd minute, followed by goals from Omar Marmoush, Mateo Kovacic, James McAtee, and Nico O'Reilly.

McAtee’s strike came on his full Premier League debut, while O’Reilly’s deflected shot sealed City’s first five-goal home league game this season.

The win lifts City back into fourth place, intensifying the Champions League race. However, goalkeeper Ederson limped off with an apparent injury in the second half.
