Liam Delap's standout performance led Ipswich to a 2-0 win over Chelsea, securing their first home victory of the season and dimming Chelsea's title hopes.
Delap scored a penalty in the 12th minute, after being fouled by goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen. He then set up Omari Hutchinson for a second goal early in the second half, following a poor back pass from Axel Disasi. Despite dominating possession, Chelsea wasted opportunities, and VAR ruled out Joao Felix's first-half equalizer for offside.
Ipswich's win lifted them above Leicester City into 18th place, just one point behind Wolves. Chelsea, now on a two-game losing streak, remain fourth, 10 points behind league leaders Liverpool, weakening their title challenge.
