Despite winning streak against Hearts, we need to stay focused on Sunday- Karim Zito

Kumasi Asante Kotoko's head coach, Abdul Karim Zito, has a message for his team. He wants them to stay focused for their upcoming game against Accra Hearts of Oak. This match is crucial despite Kotoko's recent success against Hearts.

Zito spoke during a pre-game interview. The match will take place at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, May 4, at 15:00 GMT.

Kotoko has won four straight matches against Hearts in all competitions. This includes victories in the Democracy Cup and a 1-0 win at Baba Yara Stadium earlier this season.

Despite this success, Zito emphasizes the need for focus. He believes Hearts will put in extra effort since they have lost recently to Kotoko.

“We are going in with the mentality of winning,” Zito said. He added that they must maintain a good attitude to achieve their goals.

Currently, Kotoko ranks fourth in the league standings. They are three points behind league leaders Bibiani Gold Stars.
