Former GFA Communications Director Ibrahim Sannie Daara has advised newly appointed Sports Minister Kofi Adams to seek guidance from experienced figures to succeed in his role.
Adams, the MP for Buem Constituency, is awaiting his official swearing-in. Sannie Daara emphasized the importance of consultation, recommending former Sports Minister Mahama Ayariga as a key advisor.
He praised Ayariga’s efforts in securing financial support for the Black Stars after the 2014 World Cup controversy and his role in Ghana’s 2015 AFCON campaign. Sannie Daara urged Adams to learn from such experiences to avoid pitfalls.
Once sworn in, Adams will replace Mustapha Ussif, who served from 2021 to 2024. His ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders will be crucial to his success.
