Bobby Banson's Advice on AI in Creative Arts

Bobby Banson is a lawyer focused on copyright issues. He advises creatives to manage their use of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

During a discussion on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z, he spoke with Kwame Dadzie. Bobby emphasized that AI should enhance creativity, not replace it.

“AI is meant to complement your work,” he said. “It shouldn’t be the main focus.” He warned against relying solely on AI.

Bobby noted that technology evolves constantly. He compared it to how mobile phones replaced traditional cameras.

“If your entire creative process depends on AI, you may face challenges later,” he cautioned. “In five years, another technology could emerge.”

He also discussed copyright laws related to AI usage. Bobby mentioned ongoing efforts worldwide to create relevant legislation for Intellectual Property laws.
