Doubt over Kylian Mbappe after operation as two Real Madrid stars ruled out for Copa del Rey

Real Madrid face key absences ahead of their Copa del Rey semi-final first leg against Real Sociedad at Anoeta.

Kylian Mbappé is doubtful after a minor dental operation forced him to miss training. If unavailable, Endrick Felipe, Brahim Diaz, or Arda Güler could step in alongside Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior.

Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is confirmed out, with Andriy Lunin set to start. Midfielder Fede Valverde will also miss the match due to ongoing discomfort, with Lucas Vázquez expected to play at right-back.

Aurelien Tchouameni and Dani Ceballos are likely to start in midfield, alongside the returning Jude Bellingham.

Real Sociedad also have injury concerns, with Nayef Aguerd and Luka Sucic ruled out. Arsen Zakharyan is a doubt, but Sheraldo Becker, Hamari Traore, and Igor Zubeldia could return.
